On December 9 (Wed.), the fifth day (9th and 10th) of the "Nagato Tourism Concierge" seminar, a program to develop human resources capable of providing the unique hospitality of Nagato City, was held.
Ms. Tomoka Uno, curator of the Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum, served as the lecturer for the 9th seminar. She gave a lecture on the children's song poet, Misuzu Kaneko.
In the first half of the lecture, the lecturer discussed Misuzu Kaneko's poems from various angles, including the local characteristics, beliefs, historical background, and family environment of Senzaki and Aomi Island, where Misuzu spent her childhood.
In the latter half of the lecture, he explained the poem "Senzaki Eight Views" in which the scenery of Senzaki and Aomi Island appears, with episodes.
Masako Aomura, who runs a yakitori restaurant "Yakitori ya Chikuzen" in Nagato City, and Yoichiro Tanaka, a member of the Nagato City Community Development Cooperation Team "in charge of yakitori," appeared in the last seminar of this fiscal year. A lesson on Nagato's yakitori culture was given.
