Thinking again about "What is Omotenashi?

On Friday, October 8, the third session of the Nagato Tourism Concierge Training Course "Hospitality Training" was held. This is one of the training courses for "Nagato Tourism Concierge," a program to develop human resources capable of providing the unique hospitality of Nagato City, and is a three-session course to learn about hospitality (hospitality to customers).

The lecturer was Ms. Miki Kijima from ANA Business Solutions Co. In this session, each student first shared his or her "impressed service" and "feelings toward customers" through discussion. Then, through role-plays of conversations with various types of customers, such as "a customer with a family" and "a grandmother who meets her grandchildren for the first time in a long time," the participants reexamined what hospitality means to them.

The hospitality training course was completed this time, and everyone received a "Certificate of Hospitality Training" from ANA Business Solutions Co. With this certificate, students have completed the entire training course and are now certified as "Nagano Sightseeing Concierge".
