Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the restoration of the JR Mine Line
On Tuesday, December 28, a special train, "Nagato Yumoto Onsen Utaakari-go," was announced by the JR Mine Line Utilization Promotion Council, Nagato Yumoto Hot Spring Town Corporation, Nippon Travel Agency Yamaguchi Branch, and West Japan Railway Company.
The "Nagato Yumoto Onsen Utaakari-go" will run specially on the San-in sightseeing train "XX no Hanashi" train in conjunction with the winter event " Onshin River Utaakari 2022 " at Nagato Yumoto Onsen, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the restoration of the JR Mine Line.

This tour will be held as an opportunity for visitors to experience the hospitality along the Mine Line and the charm of Senzaki, the hometown of Nagato City-born children's song poet, Misuzu Kaneko.

*Special "XX no Hanashi" sightseeing train cars, which normally operate on the San-in Line, are used. - Headmark: A headmark commemorating the 10th anniversary of the restoration of the Mine Line will be displayed.
*You need to apply for the following Japan Ryoko set plan (JR round-trip + lodging) together with the special train (free of charge).

- Tour Highlights
(1) A special chartered sightseeing train "XX no Hanashi" will run between the Sanyo Line, Mine Line, and San-in Line, which normally do not operate.
(2) On the outward journey, Mine City's live-in entertainers "Kaito Suzume" and "Uchi" will guide you along the Mine Line and offer local specialties of the cities and towns along the line.
(3) You can make light motifs (free of charge) related to " Onshin River Uta Akari 2022 " event in Nagato Yumoto Onsen.
(4) You can make a wooden toy museum using "____ no hanashi" as a motif for the sightseeing train. (4) A limited number of wooden train toys produced by the Nagato Toy Museum of Art will be on sale.
