Motonosumi Shrine

Spectacular shrine with 123 red torii gates lined up facing the sea

Motonosumi Shrine was built in Showa 30 by the prophecy of a white fox that appeared at the bedside of Hitoshi Okamura, who was the source of the local network.
The view of 123 torii gates dedicated over 10 years from Showa 62 to over 100 meters is truly a masterpiece! It is popular as one of the most spectacular scenic spots in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
As for the benefits of the shrine, you can make various wishes such as prosperous business, big fishing, maritime safety, good luck, traffic safety, academic achievement, etc.
A donation box is set up at the top of the large torii gate about 6 meters high on the premises, and you can throw in the offerings beautifully and make your wish come true.
