Today (Monday, February 19), "Choshu Chicken Steak" was unveiled at "SWEET AS," a restaurant and sports facility in Senzaki, Nagato City.
Choshu Chicken Steak" is a chicken steak made from "Choshu Dori" or "Choshu Kuro Kashiwa," a brand-name local chicken. The menu was developed last summer by a group of volunteers from restaurants in the city. Each restaurant's individuality is utilized, except for the ingredients and the fact that it is a steak (grilled), so you can enjoy a completely different chicken steak at each restaurant.

At the unveiling ceremony, after an opening speech by the Yamaguchi Prefecture Tourism Federation, local producers introduced the attractiveness of Choshu chicken and Choshu black kashirawa, and members of Recruit Co.

Following presentations of menus by seven restaurants and two inns in the city, each restaurant's menu was served to all attendees of the unveiling.
The menu items were not only different in genre, such as Japanese and Western cuisine, but also had the individuality of the chefs at each restaurant shining through. Choshu Chicken Steak" is now available at each restaurant. Please try it when you visit Nagato!
