Autumn is the best time to go out and enjoy the autumn leaves! Here are some of the best places in Nagato City for viewing the autumn leaves.
It is one of the most famous temples of the Soto sect of Zen Buddhism and is also the final resting place of Ouchi Yoshitaka, a warlord who achieved great glory in Yamaguchi as a champion of the western provinces in the Muromachi period (1336-1573). Bansekibashi Bridge, which spans the Daneiji River, dates from the early Edo period and is one of the three strangest bridges in Yamaguchi Prefecture, and is recommended to be viewed with the autumn leaves.

This is an ancient temple of the Shingon sect of Buddhism located about 2 km west of Tawarayama Onsen (hot spring) in a rural area. It is said to have been founded in 806 A.D. by Kobo Daishi on his return from Tang Dynasty China.
