The lecture “Kitahara Hakushu, a magician of words whom Misuzu admired” was given by the curator of the Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum.

　On Sunday, June 20, 2021, a lecture by a curator, "Kitahara Hakushu, the Magician of Words whom Misuzu admired," will be held at the "Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum" in the Senzaki district of Nagato City. This is a regular lecture held once a month at the museum, and its content is in line with the "Three Great Poets of Children's Songs and Misuzu" exhibition currently being held.
　This time, we will focus on Kitahara Hakushu, one of the children's song poets whom Isuzu admired. What were Misuzu's favorite works and what influences did he have on her poetry? In this course, we will also explore the appeal of poetry by paying close attention to the words used in the poems.
