Flower spots will be open for a limited time only.
Satoyama Rose, a rose garden in the Tawarayama area of Nagato City, will hold an open garden for a limited time. The rose garden, started by a couple about 15 years ago, was started with the purpose of managing their family's garden, abandoned farmland, and surrounding forests in an effort to revitalize their devastated satoyama, and was opened to the public in 2016. Please visit to see the wonderful roses.
