Nagato Yumoto Onsen “Otoshinagawa Utaakari 2025

Nagato Yumoto Onsen, a winter wonderland
In winter, Nagato Yumoto Onsen will hold the "Otoshigawa Utaakari" lighting event on the theme of a poem by Nagato City-born children's song poet "Misuzu Kaneko" along the Otoshigawa River that flows through the hot spring resort area.
Each area of the river will feature a variety of attractions, including the "Songs of Light Gento Rondo," a fantastic light performance to accompany the narration of the poem, and thousands of "light vessels" created by children and students in Nagato City.
There will also be many related events such as a special exhibition in collaboration with the Kaneko Misuzu Memorial Museum, a stamp rally, and talk events. The food stalls, bonfire and marshmallow corner, which were popular last year, are also scheduled to make an appearance.
