Walking paths where you can admire the magnificent rock art created by nature
Omijima Island Nature Study Route, called the "Memorial Road," is a walking route where visitors can look down on a group of oddly shaped rocks named the Juroku Arhat, Disguise Procession, and Elephant's Nose, among others. The 1,900-meter-long promenade is marked with interpretive signs about plant communities and scenic spots, and two walking courses are available: Course A, 1,200 m (about 40 minutes), and Course B, 700 m (about 20 minutes).
