Qinghai Island is a "magma museum
We have just completed a pamphlet, "Museum of Magma, Qinghai Island," which explains the formation of Qinghai Island and the characteristics of its rocks in an easy-to-understand manner. This pamphlet, supervised by Professor Emeritus Teruki Imaoka of Yamaguchi University, introduces Qinghai Island from a geological perspective.
The pamphlet is available at the Senza Kitchen Tourist Information Center (YUKUTE) and other locations in the city, and we hope you will find it useful for sightseeing in Qinghai Island.
