Method
The start time, course, aids, etc. may be subject to change.
Measurement
This event is a cycling event and is not a competition for time or ranking, so no measurements will be taken.
Car type:
Any type of car is acceptable. Please use a bicycle that you are used to riding.
Participants can also rent bicycles from the Tourist Information Center (YUKUTE) ( cross bikes, electrically power assisted bicycles, MTB for children). (Cross bikes, electric bicycles, MTBs for children) If you wish to rent a bike, please apply for it at the time of entry. Please note that the number of rental bicycles is limited.
Equipment
1. Please wear the necessary equipment for riding on public roads, such as front and rear brakes, bells, reflectors (tail lights are acceptable), and lights, in accordance with the law. Helmets and gloves must be worn for safety.
2. Vehicles equipped with DH bars or only DH bars are prohibited.
Vehicle Inspection
All participants in this event are required to have their vehicles inspected at the nearest bicycle store in advance.
A vehicle inspection certificate will be sent to you by e-mail together with the participant information. Please have your bicycle inspected at a bicycle store and bring it to the registration desk.
Personal belongings
Please be sure to carry a flat tire repair kit, drinking bottle, rations, tools, small change, and a copy of your health insurance card. A cell phone is also recommended. In addition, please bring rain gear and any other items you deem necessary.
Precautions for driving
1. This event will be held on public roads with no traffic restrictions. Please obey all traffic laws and regulations as well as traffic signals.
The course includes some tunnels. Please be sure to turn on your lights when passing through.
The course is narrow in some sections. When passing or passing each other, please do not drive too hard, and be sure to pass safely by pulling out or letting other vehicles pass ahead of you.
4. The leader should never overtake the lead staff.
5.All participants will not start at the same time. After registration, start checks and individual starts will be conducted within the designated time for each course.
6. Please ride in single file on the left side of the course in groups of no more than 5 participants.
If you are unable to complete the race within the time limit, or if the organizer determines during the event that there is a problem with the continuation of the event, please immediately follow the organizer’s instructions to stop running. The organizers plan to set a passing time limit at each aid point. Please follow the organizer’s instructions for safety management and event operation.
Cheering vehicles are not allowed to enter (accompany) the course. If a cheering vehicle is found entering (accompanying) the course, the cheering driver will be disqualified from the competition.
The use of aids by non-runners is prohibited.
If you must retire for any reason, please notify the event staff and follow their instructions. If you retire without notifying us, the race headquarters may contact your emergency contact to confirm your safety.
In the event of a traffic accident between participants or with other vehicles, please contact the event headquarters and staff immediately and follow their instructions.
12.Participants who do not follow the road traffic laws, precautions, staff instructions, etc. will be immediately stopped from driving and banned from participating in the next and subsequent competitions, etc.
Cycling courses use the roads used by local residents. Please be careful not to ride too fast when passing through narrow streets. Also, please put your own food, bottles, and other trash in plastic bags and take them home with you. As a cyclist, please be sure to help preserve the environment.
Handling of entry fee
1. No refunds will be made under any circumstances after the entry fee has been paid.

1.Participant information will be sent to the e-mail address* registered at the time of registration. In the event that the event cannot be held as scheduled due to inclement weather or other reasons, the organizer may, at its discretion, change the course or cancel the event, in which case the organizer will also contact you at the e-mail address* registered at the time of registration. (*This information will be sent from k.sports@city.nagato.lg.jp. Please make sure that you have set up your domain name to receive emails from this address.) If you do not receive an e-mail, or if you have any questions, please contact the secretariat below.
Substitute runners other than the applicant are strictly prohibited.
3. First aid will be provided for any accidents during the event, but we will not be responsible for any subsequent treatment.
The organizers will provide one-day recreation insurance for all event participants, but will not be responsible for any further compensation. If you are concerned about the coverage, we recommend that you purchase your own insurance.
5. Bicycles and accompanying equipment are to be managed at your own risk. The organizer will not be responsible for any theft or damage.
In the event of a flat tire or other malfunction, the rider is responsible for repairing the tire by himself/herself. (Please carry tire levers, spare tubes, pumps, and necessary tools.)
The organizer’s staff (including staff riders, support bikes, and support cars) may charge a fee for repairs. Please pay at the finish line. Some types of breakdowns cannot be repaired.
■About application
* Applications will not be accepted after the maximum number of participants has been reached. If a deposit is received after the maximum number of participants has been reached, it will be refunded after deducting the expenses related to the return of the deposit.
*Participants are responsible for handling fees and other expenses related to the application.
Cancellation is not allowed after the entry is completed.

I agree to abide by the following terms and conditions before applying for this event.
1. I understand and agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the event.
2. I will have my bicycle inspected at a bicycle store prior to the event and submit the inspection certificate at the registration desk after confirming that my bicycle has been properly maintained. 3. I have no heart disease or illness, and I will participate in the event at my own risk for injury, illness, accident, or loss. I will take care of my health and participate in the event at my own risk in case of injury, accident, loss, etc.
4. In the event of an accident in which I am the victim or the aggressor, regardless of the cause, I will take full responsibility and will not hold the organizers or other related parties liable.
5. I will not participate in any race in which I am the victim or the aggressor.
I will not claim any compensation other than the insurance coverage provided by the organizer in the event that I am injured or become ill during the event, or suffer any permanent injury or death as a result of such injury or illness.
6. I have no objection to receiving first aid in the event that I become injured or ill during the event. I do not question the responsibility of the organizer for the method, progress, etc.
7. I will not ask for a refund of the entry fee in the event of cancellation for personal reasons after entry is completed or in the event of cancellation or reduction of the event due to bad weather, earthquake, accident, incident, illness, etc.
8. My family, relatives and guardians (if the participant is a minor) consent to my participation in this tournament. I give my consent to participate in this event.
9. I authorize the use of my photograph and name taken during the event for advertising and media coverage of the event.
10. The organizer will handle the personal information of participants in strict compliance with the laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal information. In addition, personal information will be used for the purpose of providing information on participation in future cycling events organized or co-sponsored by Nagato City.
