Among them are many stone tools made of obsidian from Koshidake in Saga Prefecture and Himejima in Oita Prefecture, indicating that more than 10,000 years ago, people used not only land routes but also sea routes to communicate with other regions.
Obsidian gemstones from Koshidake, Saga Prefecture and Himejima, Oita Prefecture are on display. Please take a look at the actual pieces.
