JR Mine Line Restoration 10th Anniversary Commemorative Event

　The JR Mine Line, which was severely damaged by the record-breaking torrential rains in July 2010 and was completely shut down, was restored on September 26, 2011, a miraculously quick one year and two months after the related organizations made every effort to resume operations. Since then, the JR Mine Line has been running as a private rail system for many people, and on September 26, 2021, it will mark the 10th anniversary of its resumption of operations. We will take this opportunity to hold an event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the restoration of the JR Mine Line, in the hope that many people will continue to use the line and love it as their own personal rail for many years to come.

Souvenirs will be given away as soon as they are gone. Please understand this in advance.

Details of the event

If you collect stamps from 12 stations on the JR Mine Line and all stamps on the train, you will receive a “luxury souvenir” as a present.

Stamp Location

Stamp rally cards can be found at the stamping stations.

In each station building of JR Mine Line
Boarding stamps and goal stamps are available at JR Asasa Station, JR Nagato City Station, and Mine City Hall.

Luxury souvenirs will be distributed to

Asa Station (open 6:00-23:00)
Nagato City Station (open 6:30-19:45)
Regional Development Division, Mine City Hall (open 8:30-17:15 *except Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays)
