80 years after the war: Touching on that time through the works of Kougetsu

The special exhibition "Kazuki Yasuo: A Journey to Europe" is now being held. This exhibition introduces, over the course of a year and while tracing his route, the full scope of 400 sketches that Kazuki Yasuo drew over approximately six months after visiting Europe for the first time in the autumn of 1956. The first installment features landscapes of France from 1956. Works created when he visited Picasso are also a highlight.
