Omijima Island was designated a national Place of Scenic Beauty and Natural Monument on October 20, 1926 (Taisho 15), and marks its 100th anniversary this year. Loved by many artists and cultural figures for its beauty and unique geological formation, Omijima Island has long inspired people. This special exhibition introduces its historical and natural appeal through paintings, reference materials, and photos submitted by local residents. Come and experience the world-class charm of Omijima Island for yourself.
