■ Eligibility
Entry is only open to those residing in Yamaguchi Prefecture at the time of application and on the day of the event.
■ Measures against new coronavirus infection
The event is scheduled to be held after taking measures to prevent new coronavirus infection, but the content may be changed or the event may be cancelled depending on the future spread of infectious disease. However, depending on the spread of infectious diseases, the content may be changed or the TUAT may cancel the event.
In the event that the event is cancelled due to the spread of the new coronavirus, the amount of the participation fee refund will be determined based on a careful examination of the expenses required for preparations. Please apply after receiving consent.
Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The accompanying parent or guardian must also apply separately. The application will be invalid if a parent or guardian does not apply.
Bicycle rental:
If you wish to rent a bicycle, please apply for it at the time of entry. Please note that the number of bicycles is limited.
We are pleased to announce that Shunsuke Miyamoto from the Yamaguchi Branch of the Japan Bicycle Racing Association will be our guest for this year’s event.
The Japan Cycling Athletes Association is a professional athletes’ organization with the largest number of members in Japan. As professional cyclists, we are actively involved in bicycle promotion activities, such as holding bicycle riding classes throughout Japan and assisting in bicycle-related events, in order to promote the fascination of bicycles to as many people as possible and to help them enjoy cycling safely.
Shunsuke Miyamoto
He began cycling after entering Hofu Shoko High School, and after graduating from the Chuo University Cycling Club, he entered bicycle racing.
As a student, he was a member of the Chuo University Cycling Club, where in his senior year (2016) he won two intercollegiate titles in keirin and sprint. He then joined a bicycle racer training school and made his debut in July 2018.
After a perfect win in his debut, he has finished first all three places in a row in six months. special promotion and promotion to S class 2 group in January 2019 and S class 1 group in January 2020. Selected twice for the Young Grand Prix held every December.

Applications will not be accepted after the maximum number of participants has been reached. If payment is received after the capacity has been reached, it will be refunded after deducting expenses related to the return.

◇Car type
Any type of car is acceptable. Please use a bicycle that you are used to riding.
You can also rent a bicycle from “Tourist Information Center YUKUTE” at Senza Kitchen, Michi no Eki (Roadside Station). (cross bike, electric bicycles, MTB for children)
If you wish to rent a bicycle, please apply for it at the time of entry. Please note that there is a limit to the number of bicycles available.
Equipment:
1. Please wear the necessary equipment for riding on public roads, such as front and rear brakes, bells, reflectors (tail lights are acceptable), lights, etc. as required by law. Helmets and gloves must be worn for safety reasons.
2. The use of vehicles equipped with DH bars or only DH bars is prohibited.
Please make sure to bring a flat tire repair kit, a beverage bottle, rations, tools, small change, and a copy of your health insurance card. In addition, please bring rain gear and other items that you deem necessary.
◇Precautions for driving
1. This event will be held on public roads without traffic control. Please obey all traffic laws and regulations as well as traffic signals.
2. The course has some narrow sections. When passing or passing each other, please do not drive too hard, and be sure to pass safely by pulling out or letting vehicles ahead.
3. Each group will start the race with about 20 seconds between groups.
4. Please drive single file on the left side.
5. If you cannot finish the race within the time limit, please contact the organizer. 6, If you are unable to complete the race within the time limit, or if the organizer determines during the event that there is a problem with the continuation of the event, you must immediately follow the organizer’s instructions to stop running. In addition, please follow the organizer’s instructions for safety management and event operation.
6. If you have no choice but to retire, please be sure to report to the group leader and follow his/her instructions.
7. In the event of a traffic accident between participants or with other general vehicles, please immediately contact the Secretariat and follow its instructions.
8. Participants who do not follow the road traffic laws, precautions, or instructions of the staff will be immediately stopped from driving, banned from participating in the next and subsequent races, and other actions will be taken.
Cycling courses use the roads used by local residents. Please be careful not to ride too fast when passing through narrow streets. Also, please do not throw away garbage from your rations. Please be sure to dispose of any garbage you bring with you responsibly. Please cooperate with us as cyclists to preserve good manners and the environment.
◇Others
1. In the event that the event cannot be held as scheduled due to inclement weather or other reasons, the organizer reserves the right to change the content or cancel the event at its discretion.
2. No refunds will be made under any circumstances after the entry fee is paid, except in the event that the organizer cancels the event due to the spread of new coronavirus infection.
3. proxy runners other than the applicant are strictly prohibited. In addition, it is prohibited for anyone other than runners to enter or use the aids.
4. First aid will be provided for any accidents during the event, but we will not be responsible for any subsequent treatment.
5. The organizers will provide one-day recreation insurance for all event participants, but will not be responsible for any further compensation. However, the organizer will not be responsible for any further compensation. If you are concerned about the coverage, we recommend that you purchase your own insurance.
6. Please be responsible for your own bicycles and equipment. The organizer will not be responsible for any theft or damage.
7. In the event of a flat tire or other malfunction, you are responsible for repairing it yourself as much as possible, but please do not hesitate to ask the leader if you have any difficulties. (Even in such cases, please carry tire levers, spare tubes, pumps, and other necessary tools.)
Each group will be assigned a leader. Please follow the leader’s instructions.
9. The event may be cancelled depending on the spread of the new coronavirus infection. If the event is cancelled, we will contact you at the contact address you registered at the time of registration.
Applicants must agree to the following terms and conditions before applying for this event.

2. I am free from any mental illness or disease and will participate in the Taika event at my own risk in the event of injury, illness, accident or loss.

5. I will not claim compensation for any injury or illness that occurs during the event. I understand that if I am injured or become ill during the event, I will receive first-aid treatment. I will not hold the organizers responsible for the method or progress of such treatment.
6. I will not ask for a refund of the entry fee in the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond my control or if the event is cancelled or curtailed due to bad weather, earthquake, accident, incident, spread of infectious disease or illness.
7. My family, relatives or guardian (if the participant is a minor) have consented to my participation in this event.
I authorize the use of my photo and name taken during the event in advertisements and media coverage of the event.
9. I authorize the use of my personal information in future event invitations for participation in any cycling event sponsored or co-sponsored by longchowan city.
I understand that the organizers will handle my personal information in strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal information.
10. I have read and understand the “New Coronavirus Infection Control Measures” stipulated by the organizers and will cooperate with such measures in advance. I will not make any false statements on the health condition check sheet to be submitted on the day of the event.
In order to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, please cooperate with the following. If a participant is found to be ineligible to participate in the event, we may request that his/her participation in the event be cancelled or that driving be stopped for the safety of other participants and staff.

2. Please be sure to fill out the “Physical Condition Check Sheet” enclosed in the Participant Information to be sent out in advance, and submit it to the reception desk on the day of the event.
3. You must automatically cancel your participation in the event if any of the following apply to you on the day of the event

If you have traveled to a country or region that has been restricted by the government or required a period of observation after entry, or if you have been in close contact with a person living in such a country or region within the past 14 days.

If you develop a new type of coronavirus infection within two weeks of the end of the TAFET, you must report to the organizers whether or not you have had any close contacts.
12. In the event that a new type of coronavirus infection is confirmed to have occurred after the event, information will be provided to the public health center, medical institutions and other related organizations, and the participants and staff will be notified, and the information will be posted on the “Nanavi” website of Nagatsucho City tourism.
These guidelines have been prepared for the purpose of preventing the spread of new coronavirus infection and to ensure the safety and security of all those involved in the event, including participants and staff.

2. Reception and baggage storage

(2) Please put any trash you brought with you, such as masks, rations, PET bottles, etc., into plastic bags, etc., and take them home with you.

Anyone of elementary school age or older living in Yamaguchi Prefecture is welcome to participate, regardless of whether they are a participant in the “Nagano Blue Ocean Ride mini” or not.
