Limited-time flower spot will be open for the first time in two years
Satoyama Rose, a rose garden in the Tawarayama area of Nagato City, will hold an open garden for a limited time. The rose garden, started by a couple about 15 years ago, was started with the purpose of managing their family's garden, abandoned farmland, and surrounding forests in an effort to revitalize the devastated satoyama, and was opened to the public in 2016. Last year, the event was canceled due to the prevention of the spread of infectious diseases, so this is the first time in two years. The period is 15 days from May 21 (Fri.) to June 4 (Fri.), and we hope you will visit to see the wonderful roses.
