Roadside Station Senza Kitchen celebrates its 5th anniversary!

Commemorative event held

Today (April 22 [Saturday]), "Senza Kitchen 5th Anniversary Festival" is being held at Senza Kitchen, a roadside station in the Senzaki district. This event is held to celebrate the facility's five-year anniversary. Although some outdoor events were cancelled due to strong winds, commemorative events, a special raffle, morning market, torafugu (blowfish) demonstration and sales, and mochi (rice cake) distribution are scheduled to take place.

*Senza Kitchen will open on Friday, April 20, 2018.

Commemorative Events

Mayor Ehara Nagato and Senza Kitchen Station Manager Murata greeted the guests, and a commemorative kusudama was broken.

Mochi (rice cakes) were distributed after the ceremony.

The new name of the food and beverage building, "Nijiiro Kitchen," was also announced, and a signboard unveiling ceremony was held.

Morning Market

The monthly morning market was also held on this day. Fresh seafood and vegetables were on display at special prices.

Special raffle and food rally

In addition to the "Special Drawing" that can be challenged with purchases of 2,000 yen or more, a "Food Rally" is also underway, in which visitors can win presents by presenting receipts from three stores in the facility.

Today's event ends at 16:00 and the direct sales office will be open until 18:00 as usual.

Senza Kitchen is also planning to hold various events during the Golden Week holidays in April and May as "5th Anniversary Special Month. Please come and visit us.
